Si le mélange a son charme pour les amateurs de variétés, il peut irriter le mélomane soucieux de cohérence esthétique. D’autre part, les tempos souvent traînants et des interprétations uniformes nuisent au relief de ce septième disque de La Pietà, néanmoins pimenté d’une curiosité : le tout premier enregistrement discographique de "Regret", de Dave Brubeck, une pièce langoureuse et triste qui contraste étrangement avec la production connue du compositeur. --Dominique Olivie
